Time Delay Relay
The 021 Timer offers a delay on operate function. The timing range of the Adjustable Delay Timer is user specified up to one hour. The Delay on Operation can be manually set to any time within the selected range. Timing is initiated by application of power to the Time Delay. Upon completion of the timing cycle, the output relay will energize.

A single phase AC line and properly rated light bulbs are needed to test the delay on operate timer.

  1. The AC line and light bulbs must be connected to the timer as shown in the test method diagram at the bottom left.
  2. When the power switch is turned on, AC power is applied to the timer and the timing cycle begins. The light bulbs will illuminate when the timing cycle is complete. A stopwatch can be used to verify the timing accuracy.
